Hi, anyone else notice on some of their accounts that Google is displaying their exact service area instead of the perimeter?

I've seen that happening before too. but in my case it was a city with exclaves, not separate areas. I'm surprised they're showing at all. This should normally be well in excess of the limit past where Google starts refusing to trace the service area and just dumps a pin at the centroid.

I updated the service areas for one of my clients who is a service area business. After the update, the service area markers (Red Lines) have disappeared and is not showing anything on the map. But instead, they are showing an address pin.

Is this a bug?

Without a list of what you included in your service area, I cannot comment whether this is the "too large service area" thing (it's NOT a bug, just a weird, explicit UI choice by Google).

I see this happen with competitors who have their service area as the entire state. It'll just drop a pin in the middle of Illinois instead of outlining the entire state.

Thanks for the responses. Google has started marking the service area now, which is the city of Asheville and Buncombe County. It looks like a delay from Google.

Yeah, that's not surprising. 48-72h before these things are fully deployed is normal, especially if you're hiding the address at the same time.
