Hi there! I tried searching the forum but didn't see an answer to this question anywhere. My client has had issues with verifying their new GBP listing and got the GBP suspended when they tried to submit some weird compilation image/video of the location. I think Google though it was manipulated content and suspended the profile in that verification attempt.

They tried to appeal the suspension but the appeal was denied. I guess my question here is do we just try the appeal again OR can you delete the GBP listing and start completely over from scratch? I guess I'm trying to see if there are any other options beside just trying to submit another appeal.

I was always pulling for them to try and get on a live chat with Google for verification as this is one of those office locations where they have a suite in a large office building so they've struggled to film their verification video in a timely enough manner for verification one before.

Hey,

It could be the case that because your client submitted media that was suspicious, Google suspended the case, or it could have been a systematic suspension. It's tough to predict, but this has happened to many businesses lately.

If you want them to take another look at your reinstatement, the best link to use is Request additional review of a denied appeal - Google Business Profile Help

However, there is a long wait time for responses, so it might take a couple of weeks to get a response. As far as deleting it and trying again. It is generally not recommended. Usually, it is best to try for another appeal before trying options like that.

Unfortunately, there is no way for you to control the verification process you get, so you would not be able to request a live person. I'm not really sure they do that anymore, regardless most of the time you are just stuck with what you get :(

Thanks,
Andrea
