How important is the GMB business name in terms as a ranking factor in 2021?

If i am searching for a plumber near me for example would a plumbing business with the keyword plumber in the business name have more authority in it in regards to ranking over a plumbers business who didn't have the keyword plumber in it? For example the plumbing businesses John Smith Plumbers Ltd vs John Smith Ltd?

Hey Oliver, it certainly does. The interesting thing is that it has diminishing returns as more businesses start to do it.

Great advice Colan. I would recommend looking to use a KW in your business name that none of your competitors are using. When a searcher inputs this KW you’ll be on top of map section for a distance probably far greater than your actual service area.
