Hi, How are you all? I hope you all doing well.


One of my clients sent me his website so I could make the GMB for it. But He already sent the same to the website to multiple sellers and they all ended up at video verification which they can't do because it's a service-based business.

So, What things can I do to get it not trigger video verification?

Service Area Business (SAB) can only do video verification. There is no other option.

Why can't the business owner do the video themselves? It doesn't take long.

@Thunderdigitals - As mentioned above, SABs can do video verification and it shouldn't take very long.

Think of the branded service vehicle much as you would think about a storefront.

• Park at your a.) home and show the home address, b.) at a nearby intersection and show the street signs, c.) at a nearby plaza and show the businesses there, or d.) at a recognizable landmark in the city and show that landmark. The goal is to establish that you're shooting the video in your service area.
• Unlock and start the vehicle. The goal is to prove ownership / your association with the business.
• Show that the vehicle contains the necessary equipment. (Google doesn't judge what tools are required for what kind of work. Just show that you've got some sort of equipment in the vehicle and that should do.)
