Has anyone ever experienced a profile completely disappear?

We know we had this profile at some point because we have emails notifying us of new reviews a few weeks earlier. However, we have not received any notification of the profile being removed, suspended, or unverified.

It is also missing from our client's account.

If you have experienced this before, were you able to resolve this? And what steps did you take?

Yep, see this happen a lot. Usually it's because the primary owner did something to their Google account that deleted the listing. Did they change anything or migrate anything with their emails? Did they disconnect any tools recently from their Google account?

We're checking with the clients to see if they might recall anything like that. Our understanding is that it vanished from their account as well (So it could be a 3rd party tool, etc).

Have you ever been able to get the profile back once it has been removed?

Keep us updated!! I've seen a few instances where support tells people to create a new profile, which is of course not ideal. So you may have top push back on that to get them to restore the original profile.
 
I saw this happen with one client and when I reached out to Google support they told us to create a new one. Some of these listings had many images and reviews. We were able to get the reviews back for 1 or 2 locations but they had so many images that are now gone. @JoyHawkins @ElizabethRule have either of you been able to restore images or just reviews & profile?

I have never had to restore images to a profile, so I cannot say either way how possible this is. One thought: is the user who uploaded the images still a user on the profile? I imagine that if that user is no longer on the profile, that could be why the images were not restored.

Your best bet is to ask Google using the email they sent confirming that the profile was restored, and that reviews were moved over.
