Coworker just asked me why the user image is not showing for review responses for a client. Turns out no one is showing any review responses anywhere I can see except on in the mobile Maps app.
I'm scratching as "Google goofed up/changed their mind/testing something yet again", but I'm curious if people have noticed other variations. My boss asked about a different between responses made by the GBP owner vs. third parties with user images, but I'm 90% sure he's either dug the old bug that showed the wrong user in some circumstances or it's a useless and horribly misleading AI response (my coworkers are, sadly, amongst those people that seem to lose about 20 IQ points as soon as they interact with LLMs).
