I find Google’s latest Search Console Insights useful for getting a quick snapshot into popular pages and traffic etc.

However I’ve noticed an issue with the “Your New Content” section. It is showing non-existent pages I didn’t create:
…/dang better than reCAPTCHA: captcha.net

Really spammy! Whilst fortunately they are simply going to a 404 page, I’m wondering why Google is recognizing them and whether this is something I should be concerned about. If so does anyone know next steps? Please see image.

You may not have created these pages but a plugin / theme / software could have created it. Have you checked your sitemap for these pages?

Thank you Justin 😊 Please excuse my ignorance here but would I essentially tweet what I’ve put here on my profile but add their @names at the beginning to try and trigger a response? I presume I would tweet on my profile not there’s. Is that correct? Sorry I’m not too familiar with Twitter etiquette.
Yep!
