Hey everyone,

I'm looking for ideas and best practices when creating Google Business Profile Offer posts in Canva.

What Canva elements or formats have worked best for you?

Do you stick with simple static designs, or do you use subtle animations and then export as video for GBP posts?

I'm trying to find the right balance between being eye-catching and keeping it professional, especially for home service businesses (HVAC, electrical, carpet cleaning, etc.).

Any examples, Canva templates, design tips, or resources would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

To be honest, we do not do GBP posts for any of our client because they do not help improve rankings and users really dont engage with them. This is true service based businesses at least. So in your case I would ditch doing posts.

Industries like restaurants, GBP posts are more important cuz they actually get clicks and are much higher up on the profile.

I might be alone in this but all my clients get about 3 post a day from us.

3 Hours before their opening hours > If they open for 8 hours we post 4 hours into their shift > 3 hours after they close.

Here is a simple reason why I do it

This is a quick test, asking A.I mode what was the latest post " brand" profile...it got it right. so I went on incognito mode and searched for " Any businesses in Astoria having a good deal on eye brow Tinting ? "
