How can I explain to our vendor group (PPC) why and how to connect a google ads phone number to our GBPs?

That really sums it up. I think I've asked this in various ways in the past. The vendor seems sort of clueless about the why/how of it and I don't know how to explain it to them. To be clear I am talking about the section of our GBP pictured below.

Actually, you should be connecting your GBP phone number to Google Ads & not vice versa. This will give your Google Ads a "good" Location Extension.

How? Log into Google Ads & create a Location Extension.
