We've had local search consultants start lots of discussions here about the best CRM, project management and reporting tools to keep organized on client projects.
I just discovered the post below and wanted to share. It's not local focused, but many of the tools SEOs use could work for us too. A lot of the tools are for managing staff and remote teams. And many of the software programs these SEO experts find are crucial to their business, are not even SEO related, yet are important tools for getting everyday tasks done.
Then below that post I wanted to highlight some of the recent hot discussions from Local Pros here at the forum.

Interestingly, not all the tools are directly related to SEO. Read on to find out these hidden gems as well as the core SEO tools that power these agencies.
I discovered a VERY cool tool. A solution I've been looking for for a long time that I think would add some excitement to local sites -increase traffic, improve stickiness and even help EARN lots of legit links. I hope to do a big post about it next week.
(See if you can guess which tool it is. Bet you've never heard of it either.)
