I am currently encountering an issue with the re-verification process and am unable to update my business name.

My Google Business Profile has been compromised, with unauthorized changes made to the business name. However, the phone number and website URL remain correct, and I possess the business license and all relevant documentation associated with the account. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in recovering and securing my profile.
Note: I lost the google business profile ownership as well. it triggered GBP "Verification Processing" and can't access account.

What do you mean by "can't access account"? Have you lost access to the profile entirely, or are you just unable to edit it? Also, is the profile currently live on Maps?

Hey Eli,

Thank you for your response, I lost the access but the profile is live with incorrect Business name on it ? and I'm tired of reaching out google business support team. they say that "Your Business Profile is not verified" though I've provided them with all the documents, live links, license everything still no help.

Hi @vinn12 have you tried claiming it - triggering the ownership conflict process? If the website (and you have a domain-based email) and the phone number are the same - you might be able to claim ownership if you try it with an email that is using the same domain (business domain).

Or, after 3 days if the current owner does not reply, Google can add your account to the listing and give you an option to reverify (usually by contacting support).

Yes, I've already tried claiming it and claimed it but right after that I got suspended and when I appealed I got this from google's end :-

"your appeal has not been approved
Your recent appeal for a restricted listing has not been approved."

I'm tired of it. All efforts going in vain, have tried claiming it using different mails but the same results on all the appeals I made.

I re-appealed as well and I got this :

"Thank you for contacting the Google Business Profile team.

We checked your account and it appears like your Business Profile isn’t eligible to display on Google because it violates the GBP quality guidelines."
