When I run scans I am only ranking decent in outskirts cities that I don’t even service which seems strange.

There is a competitor that has an office in the same building as us that shares secondary categories.

We have 62 5 star reviews and still are not ranking well.

Here’s a pic of the heat map of a scan I ran this morning as well as the link to my gmb page.

Been struggling to improve my rank and can’t figure out what the problem is.

For what it’s worth the profile is less than 6 months old but everything is filled out and optimized. I also have citations and all naps match.

I’m starting to think I may be getting filter by this competitor in my building.

Can someone confirm?

I can't quite comment on the filtering itself since you don't state what query this is. Usually the way to try is to check whether one of the other GBPs in the Local Falcon results has the exact opposite pattern to you. there are some Home service businesses in the same building, though they seem more specialized (e.g.). Again, without knowing what keyword(s) are concerned, it's hard to tell whetehr therse business are indeed filtering you.

That being said, the results of a quick check from Montreal (no VPN/location changer trick) for "nashville construction company" are... weird. Top-20 has no less than 7 GBPs with less than ten reviews, two of them with exactly one (!!). For what I assume is a reasonably competitive industry in a major metropolitan area, those are fairly baffling results.

(Note: these are not "true" LSAs, as LSAs are not actually available in Quebec. However the LSA display replaces the local finder completely for some queries.)
