Losing access randomly to a big chunk of GBPs

I work for an agency, so we deal with a lot of clients' GBPs - during this month, we randomly access around 40-50 accounts for a specific client, but we didn't receive any emails/notifications saying "you can no longer manage this profile". Has anyone else experienced something similar? I am curious if this was a weird Google issue since our client mentioned that they did NOT remove us from the accounts. Thanks in advance for the help!

yeah the problem is we are owners on some of these so it doesn't make sense

Have you lost control of the account? Has someone else gained access and locked you out?
