Moving to a new company/location/brand

Company A purchased Company B. Company B is bringing their services and clients to Company A. Company B is moving from its current location, into the offices of Company A and will now be doing business as Company A's name. Would company B mark its GBP listing as closed or moved? Company B doesn't want to look like it went out of business if it's marked as "closed"; they want people to know they've "merged" with Company A and are now providing services through Company A. How do we properly mark this business in GBP?

1. Before moving change the name on Company B's GBP to Company A's name
2. After moving ask GBP support to mark the old profile as moved
