My wife is a real estate agent who has both a Google Business Profile and Google Local Services Account. We do pretty well with Google Local Services, but the leads are still few and far between.

I'm thinking of getting my realtor's license, and creating my own GBP and GLS, in order to increase the number of leads that we have coming in. I have a full-time job, so this would only be for the purpose of getting leads and passing them on to her (as we would be a "team" in this scenario).

Are there any rules against using the same address for different, serviced-based GBP's? And also, would it be a problem to open a new GLS account for the same (our home) address as well?

There are no rule violations (same thing as all realtors at an office sharing the same address), but two SABs registered at the same address can filter each others, so if you can validate your profile at a different address, I'd strongly recommend doing that!

I don't recommend having two GBPs with the same primary category at the same address. One will rank, and the other will get filtered out. I would recommend setting up one as a realtor and one as a real estate agency. Set up tracking numbers to avoid issues with citations. This is within Google's guidelines.

I don't think that's going to be enough because filtering is on a query-by-query level rather than strictly based on categories. If both profiles are retrieved for the keyword, the filter is going to come into play regardless of their chosen categories.
