NAP Issues with Fax Number

I have a client who is an insurance agent and his fax # is listed as the primary phone number on several directories for a lawyer. I'm guessing the lawyer had the number long ago. I was curious if any of you have seen ranking boosts as a result of cleaning up wrong references to a fax number?
