I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue one of my clients is having with his GBP. For 4 days straight now his business keeps getting marked as Permanently Closed. For four days straight now we have received an email from Google saying his business has been permanently closed and then ask us if this is the case. Unfortunately, every time this happens, Google marks it as permanently closed and it is removed from Google search. Every day we have clicked that his business is still open and after a few hours it is live again and then the next day it happens all over again. This is getting old quickly. We don't know if someone is trying to sabotage his business and suggests this edit every day or if there is an issue with Google that keeps causing this, but we need to get this figured out. We shouldn't have to deal with this every day and if someone is sabotaging his business, we should be able to stop them from doing this every day. This is his livelihood and he can't keep having his business taken down every day.

Please help, what can we do to stop this from happening? Thank you!

Hey there. I can see the frustration. Google is likely getting conflicting data about the business from somewhere. Since this edit is happening so quickly I would check these two items first ...

1. Is there a person with access to the Google Business Profile that should not be there? Likely a small chance this is the issue, but better to be safe just in case.

2. The second thing I would check is to see if there's a 3rd party platform with access to the listing: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions ... those platforms/API may be feeding Google conflicting business information.
