I have a client who moved his office slightly, from one address in a zip code in California to another address in the same zip code. Google never required a postcard reverification and for a while the new address was fine. However, over the past month or more Google keeps reverting to the old address. I've had multiple contacts with Google support to get the correct address to show. Both the business owner and I have gone in multiple times to edit to the correct address, as in almost every day.

I have a support ticket with Google:

[1-7655000032629]

We have followed all of the instructions provided, but as of today they replied, "I understand your concern that you are facing an issue with the address on your business profile. As per my checks I see that the specialist team is involved in this issue. Hence, we are requesting you to contact the specialist team for further assistance they will help you with your concern." The link Google provided goes here, Google Business Profile API Support - Google Business Profile Help

I have never received a response like this before. The link takes me to a form that requires me to create a Google Cloud Platform Project ID and Google Cloud Platform Project Number.

@JoyHawkins, @BenFisher, or @keyserholiday - do any of you have any guidance about this?

It sounds like you might have a 3rd party tool connected to your listing that is overwriting the address. You can see what apps currently have access to change your account here: Sign in - Google Accounts. Look for things listed under the third-party apps section that say they have access to manage business listings.

Tools I have found in the past that have this ability include Bright Local, SEMRush, and Yext.

Thanks so much, Joy and for including the link! That's probably what's going on.
