Not able to update incorrect title

Hello,

I am in a competitive field where people regularly spam their keywords into their GMB titles regardless of their branding. I had been mitigating it by updating their titles to be their correct business name. However, in the last week, Google has not been accepting my updates no matter which email or location I am updating from. Before, they would do it automatically. Is there another way to report these profiles directly to Google with any success?

You can try the redressal form Business Redressal Complaint Form - Google Business Profile Help

But unless it's super spammy, as in they've added a ton of extra words, Google likely won't take action.
