Hello Fellow Mappers,

I have a quick question related to the verification by phone in GMB.

Years ago, the business would get unverified when the phone number used for the verification process gets replaced by another one. Please advise if this is still the case. In general, are there any limitations in terms of main details update in GMB accounts that are not bulk verified.

I have found that it really depends on multiple factors. The category that the business is in can make a difference. How long it's been verified for can make a difference.

But I would say in the majority of cases editing the phone number will send it into "under review" status and not require a new verification.
