A search for Thai restaurants near an intersection close to my home is returning results from Australia. I have performed this search a few times before and this is the first time the results are Australian.
If it is just pigeon, then pigeon is far more widespread than we thought.
I changed my proxy to germany, set my browser location to munich, and used google.de.
Same result.
Then changed to google brasil and did the same test with the same result.
Did it in 3 browsers (chrome, ffox, safari - private browsing mode), and logged out.
Wondering if parts of pigeon are global, and it's only the local packs that seem not to be?
I'm seeing a similar issue where local searches are now pulling from Illinois for a Wisconsin based search. I'm not seeing this for any other clients however in this same niche or in any other.
