My team has run into an issue lately where it seems like when we are onboarding a new client and gaining manager access to their existing GBP through our agency dashboard, the profile is unverified even if the owner claimed and verified the page previously, and Google is then requesting the profile go through video verification.
I confirmed with them that they're not making any edits, etc. Our onboarding specialist meets with the client and gains manager access is the GBP, and then prior to our first meeting with the client we'll take a look over the GBP, and the team is seeing it unverified / needing to go through the verification process at that time.
Has anyone else run into this? Would Google really force a verification just because someone new gained access to the profile?
