Is anyone else experiencing issues with Google’s review reporting tool?
https://support.google.com/business/workflow/9945796?sjid=14661739062359972234-NA

I’ve tried using it across multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari), on my phone, and even from a different network at home, but I still can’t get it to work. Every time I attempt to submit a review for removal, I receive the same error message. I also tried reaching out to GBP support, but their contact form just leads me back to this same tool.

Thank you!

It's you. I've just reported a fake review and it submitted without any issues.

Thats so interesting. I've tried this tool with different accounts, big and small, and it just won't work for me

Been trying to report this one review for 2 weeks now lol. Each time I get hit with this message

@Jeffrey - I think you get this kind of error if you try flagging a review a second time for the same reason.

Have you already flagged the review once? And what happens when you try a different reason?

@Stefan Somborac I don't believe any of my reports have actually gone through. When I'm in that tool, I go to "Check the status of a review I’ve already reported", and the review I'm trying to report is not in there. I've also posted this issue in the community but I don't believe the post ever became live.

@Jeffrey - When you go to check the status of a review you've already reported and it's not listed, that's a known bug.

And creating a post in the forum only to find that it doesn't get published: that's a known behaviour where the nannybot is far too aggressive.

Try creating another post in the forum. To minimize the chances of it getting filtered, keep it short and don't post any images. You can also try reporting from a different account.

@Stefan Somborac How interesting. I didn't realize that the review not showing up in the already reported section is a known bug. That def makes it difficult to appeal. I initially tried reporting the review through our agency dashboard then I tried reporting in through a smaller account that I added. I ran into the same issue both time. I'm guessing now that the review did get submitted the first time, but I'm just unable to appeal it because of the bug.

I'll try creating another post in the community with a little less detail.

Thank you for all the help
