SAB's - can a client without a Gmail leave a SAB a review.

Hi guys,

Hoping for your advice.
I have a SAB client who has asked whether customers of theirs who don't have a Gmail account can still leave a review.
When Ive worked with business' who display their address in GMB I've been able to advise that their clients will be able to leave a review but without a Gmail account they'll only be able to do this using their Phone via the Google Maps app.

My SAB client says his clients who have tried this cant find his business when they search by typing in the business name.

Please can you advise whether it's not possible to leave a review for a SAB if they don't have a Gmail account.

This would be really helpful before I start digging to find out what else may be going wrong.

Hi @LauraUK - Users can't leave a review on Google without being signed in to a Google account. It doesn't matter if they are trying to leave a review for an SAB or a business with a physical location.

If they use Google Maps on a phone they are already signed in to a Google account.

Just to clarify, they don't have to have a Gmail account, but do have to have a Google account.
You can have a Google account without setting up Gmail.
