I have a client who accidentally granted GBP primary ownership access to a spam account. That spam account is now the only owner on the GBP. I have manager access to the GBP. Is there any way for me to get ownership back away from this spam account? Does Google have any protocol for this sort of thing?

Create a new email address using the domain. Add it to Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, then request ownership access. The owner will have up to 72 hours to grant or reject the access. Once the access is reject our after the 72 hours, you will be able verify your affiliation with the GBP.
