So a main term [service + city] is returning a single results in the Google Local results within the SERPs, but when I go into Google Maps with the same search the term only displays this one listing. It pulls multiple listings correctly when using [service + "company" + city]. Do I chalk this up as a Google glitch?

Hi Brent,

Well not really a glitch. More like an algo change that got tweaked too hard. I've reported and reported to Google management and tried various ways of getting them to fix it.

Here is tons of info and examples: Attack of the Bad Google Local One-Boxes!

Read post #51 where I explain some things you can try, to get it corrected for the affected market.
