We have a client with a VERY wrong city included in the service area. I'm talking "french city included in the service area of a north american business" levels of wrong. However, the business is also in one of those weird limbos where the address is hidden, but not entirely hidden within Google's backend systems (it's visible in the drop down to select the GBP in the seek help form, but nowhere else), and that makes it impossible to make any alteration to the service area (it's a side effect of tehse situations I've noticed on otehr profiles, though this specific variants is one I had not encountered before).

Two attempts at getting through support have bounced back with the dreaded "We don't understand your problem, so don't even think about answering this email lol" generic and useless response. What's the frickin' magic words I must use so that Google will stop preventing me from removing a violation of their own damn rules??

@ElizabethRule

This comedy of error just keeps getting better and f***ing better. Now the Google help forum won't let me start the thread. *headdeask*

Like, not even a "this is getting escalated" just silently shut down the thread.

*sigh* Gogole is a functional business, y'all.

I've had the "problem occurred" problem on the help forums as well. There's a word or words in your post that the algorithm doesn't like.

I agree though, complete garbage. Can't wait for the inevitable where I can stop worrying about Google the same way I stopped worrying about Facebook.

It was worse than that, I actually had a product expert answer... and then nothing else happened after that.
