Our team was told today by YP support that they are migrating their website and they can no longer create or claim listings. They said YP adsolutions will be going away & updates will have to go through aggregators like dataaxle (Express Update). Just curious if anyone is still working with YP listings manually?

Hey Scott,

Our team started having problems with YP a couple of months ago, and then on Nov 10th we received a reply saying "We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Unfortunately, we are converting to a new portal and system restrictions do not allow for updating your listings at this time."

Our team keeps trying them, and says it's a bit of hit or miss situation. They definitely do add/update/remove listings when contacting them trough the Thryv portal. However, you can't be sure if they will actually act on your request or not.

A number of listing management/local seo platforms are now integrated / managing YP, DexKnows and SuperPages (Dex and SP are becoming mirror sites) via (paid) API connection. It's a recent program.

Infogroup / Data Axle's bulk update product does not reliably update YP. We relied on it for years and it failed miserably at keeping the listings up to date and complete on there!
