Hi - I have a site I work with that provides language training in many locations, french lessons in leeds, spanish lessons in sheffield etc etc
It should up for lots of locations but for some it does not show up in the maps at all on an initial search despite showing up at #1 in the natural listings. If, however, I do a search and then zoom into the map on my location, if I zoom close enough then it will show up but I need to zoom so close that none of the other providers show up.

Has anyone seen this and where would you start your investigation to work out how to get the site showing in the maps?

Thanks

That means that you don't rank well when your competitors are in the geographic area shown in the map. You need to work on outranking them as much as you can.
