So here's my problem/concern. We have and active business along with an active/managed daily GBP account for our business. We've been here going on 5 years. The profile is up to date, showing all of our information and even a Google maps street view (360°) verifying everything. Business name posted on our sign, which is big and clearly displays very well in the street view of our location. Somehow (I mean I know how, just don't understand) someone has created a whole new GBP in a completely separate name, which has no affiliation with us whatsoever, and it has our address tagged and pinned. So when you look at our location on Google maps. It shows both of us( the correct business) right next to (in the same building) as the fraudulent business. I've tried suggested edits, I've reported the profile with reddessal form etc. I've exhausted myself of all options other than calling Google myself ( to which I feel would be a waste of time ) to try and rectify this situation. I don't understand how there aren't security measures created for such a thing. By the way. The GBP of the correct business is"RJs Total Appearance" and the fraudulent one is "1Detail Mobile Detail Dude LLC" . It's been up for a couple of weeks now and I'm just perplexed on how Google allows this to happen. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Preferably something I haven't tried. I've tried contacting the "fake business" and everything to no avail. What do I do?????? I hope I posted this in the right place.

Probably yes. It also depends on the level of trust your profile has.

Just make sure you set your personal account as a local guide and contribute in places you've been and then in your local area, that way, you convey trust to your edits.

That's what I think, maybe I'm wrong, I'm not an expert. :)

Ahh I see. Thanks for the input but setting it up Local Guide is for personal accounts only.
***EDIT*** Also if like to personally thank you for reporting it. It seems Google recognized it and removed the address from the fraudulent account. M double checking now.

Yea , it seems they caught it. When I Google it. There is no address listed. And when I go to Google Maps is still shows the pin. But when I click it, it says can't connect. So does this mean the Pin will be removed over time or is that another process?

Correct!

Edits may take 24 hours before appearing on Google.

Once again I appreciate the help tremendously. I wish the whole business would be deleted. But I suppose as long as the address doesn't tag itself on our business it will suffice for now.
