Before posting this, I reached out to a friend who are in the same industry to sense-check what we were seeing, and they confirmed the same pattern on their end.

Across our 250+ Google Business Profiles, roughly 90% of clients saw a noticeable uptick in GBP performance metrics in April. We're talking, impressions, clicks and direction requests & calls, and all trending up compared to March.

This doesn't appear to be niche-specific; we're seeing it across multiple verticals. I'm sharing three examples below to show what this looks like.
Has anyone else noticed this? Would love to know if this is widespread or if there's something specific driving it, algorithm update, seasonality, or something else entirely.

I checked half a dozen locations in the home services space (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, garage door repair) and I am not seeing this trend across the board. Some are up and some are down. Are you seeing this trend for clicks, calls, directions, or texts specifically?

For most client Calls, clicks and for few directions are most, but for all, overall interactions are improved.
