Is this related to this Reddit post? If so, here is the same advice I posted on there.

If you have access to the email address that created it, you can remove it from your dashboard. This should delete the duplicate profile. If it doesn’t, you can use suggest an edit to make it as closed, doesn’t exist here, or as a duplicate. If none of that works, you can send me the link to the duplicate and I can see if I can get it removed.

thank you so much. Yes, related to the Reddit post. I replied on there, but will also reply here in case it helps someone else.

Yes, I do have access to the email address that created it by accident. So I log in to that email and go into Business Profile Settings-> Remove Business Profile-> Remove profile content and managers, right? And then it shows "Mark Your Business as Permanently Closed" toggled on. But I was not sure if that should be toggled on or off? (since the original GBP that has the same exact business name is not permanently closed- I wasn't sure if this second, accident GBP would affect first one in any way? and was nervous to keep "Mark Your Business as Permanently Closed" toggled on).

Hi @keyserholiday and @Jessica C
A similar issue just happened for me and just came across this thread.

@keyserholiday I have access to the original GBP with reviews. Today, the client tried to access the listing and accidentally created a new one- which I do not have access too. I don't believe its been verified. Will I advise the client to take the same steps (Business Profile Settings-> Remove Business Profile-> Remove profile content and managers and then having "Mark Your Business as Permanently Closed" to toggled on).

Curious @Jessica C is your original GBP no longer marked as a duplicate?
