Boosting GMBs The Right Way

So my client is KW boosting their GMB, but is officially doing a name change with the state government to keep things on the up and up.

All that said, I assume it's recommended we update the citations and such after the GMB name change, correct? I ask because most people I know are NOT doing this and are still going fantastic results. Thx!

I would do an analysis of how much of a difference the name change will be, BUT Yes, you are going to want to have a consistent NAP across all your citations. Although they don't hold the weight they once did in local SEO. Best wishes...

I would update the core ones that rank for their old brand name.
