We have a bulk verified dashboard and trying to claim a location for our client. Its saying they want to send a postcard to the listing. Super odd. We have never had to do this before since its bulk verified. I am thinking maybe a glitch. Anyone else dealing with this?

Is there anything different about this location compared to the others that are verified? Is the website the same?

They all have same website URL. We think its a glitch. Has to be. Never been an issue before

Agreed, if name, website, etc. are all the same it could be an error. Is the listing isn't owned by someone else at the moment?

Not sure if it's the same situation, but I had a similar problem claiming a location that was eligible for direct verification (category was dentist) only to not see the Direct Verify option pop up.

When I contacted our agency support the rep said "looks as though there's an incorrect association on the back end between the dentist category and the financial institutions vertical, causing the system to not offer Direct Verification where it would otherwise be able to be used."
They had to escalate to their specialists team and I'm still waiting for an update on it. He said once that was fixed, direct verification would be available again.

No this is BRAND new. We then added the location as a regular user. Google accepted that. When we go to try claiming it on clients bulk verified dashboard, it still wants to send a postcard.
