Business Name Being Frequently Updated by Google

Hi everyone,

I've noticed that my business profile's name is being updated by Google very frequently—sometimes even twice in the same day. After I revert it back to the original name, it gets changed again shortly after to a different name.

Could this be due to a competitor suggesting edits through a high-authority Local Guide account, causing Google to accept the changes? Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it?

I’d appreciate any insights or advice on how to prevent these frequent updates.

when you say "different name", do you mean "keywords are being removed" or "it's a completely unrelated business name"? These are very different situations!
