Has anyone seen the side panel go missing when looking at a profile in the dashboard? We’ve been seeing it a lot where instead of the side panel there’s blank space.
It's not every client but it's been more and more. Photos attached same account one has no panel and one does.

I have something similar ...but the left side panel is missing...i have tried everything...


In Google Search the normal Business Profile management interface is missing:

  • When I search for my business name (or type “my business”) while logged into my account, I do not see the usual panel under the search bar with “Edit profile / Add update / Performance / Promote”.
  • I only see regular search results, as if I were just a normal user.

This happens:
  • In Chrome, Safari, and Firefox
  • On both desktop and mobile
  • Even in Incognito/Private mode with all extensions disabled
  • Even when this is the only account logged in

If I switch to another Google account on the same computer, that other account is also an owner/manager with that account it does show the normal edit panel for its own Business Profiles, so it seems to be specific to this one account.


Anyone experience something like this?

Hi, I'm actually going through the same issue with one of our clients as well. We made sure that there were no restrictions on the account. Next step we are taking is literally just removing and adding the user back to see if that fixed anything. If that doesn't work, might have to go to google support.

I already contacted Google Support and got a generic email back that basically said:
“Hi, thank you for contacting us about your Business Profile on Google. From the info you shared, we’re not sure of your exact issue…” – and then nothing useful or specific after that. with NO REPLY EMAIL

I’ve tried different browsers, devices, and even incognito, and the in-search management panel is still missing for this account, other manager accounts with the same bowser - no problem ...

At this point I’m not sure what else to do, so I’m really curious: did removing the user and adding them back fix it for you? If so, I’ll try the same on my side.

I'm still waiting for them to change our user access from manager to owner try it. Once I'm able to try it I I'll report back .
