Pin not showing when zoomed in

Hey guys,

got this email from a client

My friend lives about 5 miles away on Google maps "the paddleboard company" just barely started three months ago why isn't there a pin on my location?

So the question is why do some businesses show a pin even when you don't search for them by name but just zoom in, and some businesses don't show a pin when you only zoom into the location?

The pin does show his business if you search specifically for his business, and his business address isn't hidden so it doesn't look like that is to do with it

Hey Ben, are you referring to a place label, or just a regular pin?
