Change of Address - Do We Update Citations?

One of our SAB locations had a change of address. Still the same service area, but the location of the warehouse is now in a different town.

We updated GMB, Bing, and our listings on chambers of commerce. Do we update all the other citations we had whitespark build years ago?

In the past, NAP consistency was so important, I would absolutely update every citation we could. But at the most recent LocalU I heard NAP consistency isn't so important. The takeaway being, if a business address changes, don't worry about those old citations built.

Am I misinterpreting what I heard? Do we have Whitespark go and update all those old citations? Or leave them alone?

I would still update them, I just wouldn't stress about it or rush it.
