What happens if we migrate the current website to a new domain and replace it in the Google Business Profile? Do we get to verify the listing once again for the website change?
Also, after migrating to a new domain, what activities would be helpful to boost up the new domain?

Nope, you do not need to verify your listing again if you change the website. The edit should go through no problem. Make sure all redirects from the old domain are in place before changing the URL in GBP.

Making sure all 301 redirects are put in place correctly is the biggest thing to watch out for with a domain migration. You should check the redirects are working with a crawling tool, like Screaming Frog or Sitebulb AND manually. You should also redirect page by page, do not just redirect all pages from the old domain to the new domain's homepage, that will be bad for SEO.

Pro tip: Add a change of address in GSC to help Google crawl the new domain quicker.
