Changing Name Because of a Trademark Issue

Hi Guys
A potential client asked for help with changing the name on a GBP because of a trademark issue
Should we close the original GBP and create a new GBP in the new name?
Or can we just change the name on the existing one?
There is one review... but it mentions the trademarked company name - we could get the customer to edit that.
There are images on the existing GBP that show the trademarked company name

Any other potential pitfalls I have not thought of if we just change the name?

Make sure they have their paperwork updated with the name and signage if they show the address. Then change the name and remove the photos.
