I'm kind of lost/confused on what to do here/best practices moving forward:
New plastic surgery client has an existing GBP — they are the only doctor, so it's set up like sole practitioner. But the registered business name is just the practice name.
GBP is set up like:
Plastic Surgery Clinic Name: Plastic Surgeon, MD
They don't have a separate GBP for just the practice and my understanding is that's how Google prefers it.
My question is, if I'm looking to clean up or create new high level citations — should I build them based on the GBP name? or the registered actual practice name?
