Hello, everyone!

I have a competitor who does a Google My Business action that I can't imagine how it works.

He simply creates hundreds of profiles for the same company with addresses in every neighborhood in the city, even though the company only has one real address.

I've managed to take down a few listings, but it's very aggressive, with hundreds of different neighborhoods.

A curious fact is that I managed to become the owner of the listing, which wasn't validated.

The email address there is @google.com, there's no phone number, practically nothing.

They convert through the Google website, which has the customer's WhatsApp button.

It's insane! The only thing I've heard is that it's an English software, but I don't know if that's true.

Has anyone seen anything like it or know what it is?

A coworker once accidentally became owner of a GBP while demonstrating how to request access to someone, because they were literally at the location when they did it. That was a while ago, though (2019 I believe), and I don't know if that can still happen.

If the listings are verified, it sounds like a massive abuse of bulk verification, but the conditions don,t seem to be there from what you describe (in theory it works only if the adresses are on the website)
