Hi there, first post on this forum! Congrats, first of all. Second, do you bother answering old GMB reviews? 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020? Most have no text, just stars. But for those with text, do you answer them once you take a new client for example? I'm curious to know your thoughts. I personally tend to do so. Especially for some "controversial" reviews.

Yes - no harm. Biggest priority : no but you're responding to customers after all and maybe an email alert that the business sends them back to the listing and considering it as an option in future purchase!

Would explain the delay in your response to a negative review too so nobody is inclined to update their review / post a new one slating you it took 3 years to respond to their concerns!
