Does anyone have any idea how to download customer photos from GMB that they've uploaded with their reviews?

Within the GMB account > Photos > By Customer there appears to be no option to download and right mouse clicking doesn't work properly on the image (using Brave browser but not actually tested in others) and I tried to go via inspect element and that wasn't too easy.

Surely it should be possible to download the photos from an account?

From an account/API, no, but manual download is actually easy. You click on the three-dot menu for the image and choose "report a problem" (if it's a user upload on a GBP you control, clocking the flag in the dashboard image gallery will do the same thing):

On the report a problem page, the image will be displayed inline and you can right-click to save it. This trick actually works for any image in Google Maps you wish to download (e.g. an older photo on the client's GPB you wish to use as a banner or for a post).

The API does allow you to download all the customer-uploaded photos from an account but the association with each review is (I believe) loose. You should be able to look at timestamps and user details from the API to connect to the associated review.

Ah managed to get to this which you describe and can save it like that - wow, this wasn't easy though. Why on earth Google haven't just added a download button on the images like they do in Google Photos is a bit daft. Thanks.
