Hi, sorry if this has been asked before, but what can be done if a competitor has a fake GMB listing up? Is there any recourse?

The best option is to report them on the Google Map Maker forum or Google My Business forum.

You can also submit an edit to a listing on Google Maps for them stating they're spam.
