About 2 days ago, we received an email saying:
Your Local Services ad stopped running
Your Local Services ad isn’t live anymore
Your Local Services ad has stopped appearing in search results.
This may be caused by a data mismatch between your linked Google Business Profile and your Local Services Ads. Please contact support to update your profile and ensure consistency.

At the same time, under Business Verification, the status of our linked Google Business Profile changed from Complete to In Progress. It shows the correct GBP on that page, but there is no option to take any action or restart the verification.

I compared all the details in our LSA profile with our GBP profile, and everything appears to be identical, down to the letter.

We contacted Google phone support. The representative said he had heard about other businesses experiencing a similar issue, but he didn't have access to fix it. He referred us to the Advanced Verification team contact form. He wasn't entirely sure whether they were the right team for this issue, but it was his best suggestion.

I submitted the Advanced Verification form, as well as the Local Services contact form (https://support.google.com/localservices/gethelp).

So far, we haven't seen any progress or received any updates.

Is this a widespread issue? Has anyone else experienced the same thing recently?

And, more importantly, is there anyone else we can contact to escalate or speed up the process? Our LSA has now been paused for about 2.5 days, and it's having a real impact.

Thanks!

Having the same issue. It looks to me like an issue with SAB not having an address so the address that was typically showing in the LSA profile is no longer there. Hasn't caused a problem with any profiles we have running except for one that needed a license renewal. We renewed the license but the GBP got unlinked in the process somehow. Called support this morning they escalated. Called back again not long again and they said it is a widespread issue.
