Google Knowledge Graph "What People Search For"

I've got a question about the Google Knowledge Graph. Has Google ever said where they get the info to display other businesses at the bottom under "What People Search For"? I've done some looking but haven't found a whole lot. I was hoping someone here might know something.

I've always interpreted it as related businesses that users who are searching for related things have clicked on or searched for.

Example: User 1 searches for dentist seattle and clicks on dentist A, B, and C. This would cause dentist B to show up under dentist A's listing.
