How Long Should I wait after submitting to Directories before claiming Google Places

Curious if anyone has thoughts on the optimium amount of time to wait after claiming/submitting to directories before claiming the google places page?

I don't see any reason to wait any amount of time before claiming a places page if it already exists.

Agreed, I'd just simply check to be sure a few are approved and live. No need to wait beyond that.
As long as you can find them, Google can find them and that's the key.
