Client is a high-end audio retailer. Their Google Business Profile is set up as a storefront with the address displayed publicly, not a service-area business (no service area is configured). The displayed address is a mail center suite in California, so the listing is currently out of compliance. They have a real, staffed showroom in Nevada and want the profile to live there going forward. That location is new and doesn't currently have a GBP.

The profile has 10+ reviews and my #1 priority is carrying those reviews through the move.

What's the best process here: edit the address, create new and merge, or something else?

Thanks in advance!
Bryan

You are not supposed to move GBPs and reviews across state lines. However, make sure you have the signage and update your citations before updating the address.
