I have a client who does appliance repair. They are legit and formerly ranked well for the GBP. Now, there is a lead generation company that has launched 3 websites and 3 GBPs in his market.
They are generating fake reviews (but with quite a sophisticated system) and ranking all three of our GBPs ahead of my client's GBP.
We've started reporting them - they were using addresses that they were not at. 2 of them got taken down briefly but popped right back up with Service Areas instead of addresses.
Any help or tips on how to deal with this would be much appreciated.
BTW I'm new to the forum and am not as much of an SEO expert as others but am a Google Premier Partner for ads with 20+ years experience and definitely will help make a contribution on that front!
